Okay book friends… it’s time. 👀
We’re launching our FIRST EVER Artemis Book Club meetup and we’re keeping it very on-brand: social, a little chaotic, welcoming, and absolutely not the kind of book club where you need to have your life together. 😂
📖 THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 12
📍 The Mule Brewery & Taproom — Asheville, NC
⏰ 6:00 PM
For our very first meetup, we’re NOT expecting everyone to show up having already read the same book. Because… we haven’t picked one yet. 😂
Instead, we’re going to:
🎲 Play some book-themed games
🍻 Hang out + grab a drink
📚 Get to know our fellow book people
💬 Talk books, favorite genres, fictional crushes & questionable literary decisions
✨ Meet some new people
🗳️ VOTE on our very first book club pick!
We’ll be choosing between 3 indie authors + 3 completely different genres, so YOU get a say in what adventure we’re going on first.
🌙 THE PLAN FOR ARTEMIS BOOK CLUB
We’ll meet twice a month on Thursdays at different locations around Asheville.
We want our book club to be about more than just books — we want to explore Asheville, discover new authors, support indie creators, and support our local businesses along the way.
So expect us to bounce around the city: breweries, coffee shops, bookstores, cozy little corners, and wherever else we can find a good place to gather. 📚🍻☕️
For our first meetup, The Mule is setting us up with a long table just for us, and we’ll have a fun, welcoming area ready for everyone to hang out.
💫 ONE-TIME BOOK CLUB JOINING FEE: $15
There is a one-time $15 Artemis Book Club joining fee to help cover supplies, games, activities, and other fun book-club goodies we’ll use throughout the year.
After that, you’re officially part of the club! 📚✨
Whether you read 100 books a year, haven’t picked up a book in six months, or you’re currently reading 7 different books and can’t remember any of their names…
